Board of Education votes against reinstating Dr. Cassia Mosdell

Piscataway school psychologist Dr. Cassia Mosdell, who says she was fired over her lessons on LGBTQ+ education and for organizing a Day of Silence protest with students, failed in her bid to have her denial of tenure overruled. The Piscataway Board of Education on Thursday night ruled against her reinstatement. "It’s devastating and sad," said Mosdell.
