National Audubon Society’s Project Puffin
Special | 5m 10s
Only a handful of hundreds of applicants land a summer job with Project Puffin.
Every summer, a handful of interns and research assistants are selected from hundreds of applicants to camp in primitive conditions on tiny, treeless Eastern Egg Rock located several miles off midcoast Maine. Their job description calls for a sense of humor and love of adventure, the outdoors and birds. This is the National Audubon Society’s Project Puffin, a seabird restoration project.
