I'm Todd Gutner.
In case you missed our season opener last week, I just wanna recap how things are a bit different this year.
We have no audience.
We will not play the head to head round and we are taking a lot of precautions behind the scenes.
But what hasn't changed is that we have 16 schools from around the state and they're competing for that thousand dollar grand prize for their school's Project Graduation.
Also this year, you will, at home, have the chance to win $500 for the school of your choice with our Quiz Show Conundrum Contest.
That'll be coming up a little later in the show.
In our second match of the season, we have Brunswick High School from Brunswick, taking on Morse High School from Bath.
Let's get things started by meeting the players.
For Brunswick, we have Maia, Nate, Merrick and Ben, with alternates Wes and Leo and they're coached by Anna Roy Wiley.
And for Morse, we have Lochlan, Finn, Aidan and Jonah, alternates Jay and Declan.
and they're coached by Craig Tinker.
Now the competition has three rounds, a toss-up round, a category round and a lightening round.
We'll start with the toss-up round.
Now all answers are worth 10 points and this is the only round with no point deductions for wrong answers.
Players must wait for me to complete the question and if one team answers incorrectly, the other team will be given a chance to answer.
