Ricker Hill Orchards in Turner is in its 8th generation of family farmers. While much has changed since Thomas Jefferson was President, the tart Macintosh apples that are the staple crop at Ricker Hill have remained largely the same. However, the technology used to process whole apples and those turned into cider has evolved quite a bit over the years.
